ab 1997 den Drittelmix in den meisten europäischen Ländern ablösendes Testverfahren für den Kraftstoffverbrauch von Personenkraftwagen. Der Euromix wird auf dem Prüfstand ermittelt. Der Testzyklus beginnt mit einem Kaltstart (20 ºC) und einem Stadtfahrzyklus bei einer mittleren Geschwindigkeit von 19 km/h. Durchfahren wird der Zyklus viermal (Beschleunigung bis zum dritten Gang und Motorleerlauf, 4 km Strecke). Im anschließenden außerstädtischen Zyklus beträgt die Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit jetzt 62,6 km/h, die Höchstgeschwindigkeit 120 km/h (Beschleunigung bis zum fünften Gang). Gleichzeitig wird über den gesamten Prüfzyklus der Gesamtverbrauch ermittelt. Er liegt beim Euromix höher als beim Drittelmix, der Käufer erhält aber realere Verbrauchswerte.
